The 8th of July 2006, the City of Modena took part to the Conference “The commercial places”, focused on the subject of urban commerce. The event was held in Vercelli (Italy) and organized by the local Chamber of Commerce. The Conference offered a good opportunity to promote Urbe Viva Project and its main outcomes that were reported during the speech of Mr. Giovanni Bertugli, Head Officer of the City of Modena Economic Policies Department. The event represented also an important chance to meet relevant actors in the field of commercial and urban revitalization and, among those, some representatives of the “Tocema Europe” project, a European network for the Town Centre Management of central urban areas.
